Election commission ‘ready for industry chambers polls’

AMMAN — The Independent Election Commission on Thursday announced its preparedness to conduct the elections of the chambers of industry in the Amman, Irbid and Zarqa governorates slated for Saturday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The number of candidates is 65 while 124 local and 11 international observers will oversee the process. The commission will set up a media centre to update reporters regularly with progress in the elections, which are conducted every four years.
