Eid Al Adha begins on October 4

AMMAN — Eid Al Adha will start on Saturday, October 4, Chief Islamic Justice Ahmad Hilayel said on Wednesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Wednesday.
Eid Al Adha, which begins on the 10th day of Dhul Hijja in the lunar calendar, is the feast marking the end of the annual holy pilgrimage to Mecca, which Muslims of sufficient means are required to perform at least once in their lifetime.
The main Hajj ritual, Arafa Day, will fall on Friday, October 3, the ninth day of Dhul Hijja.
