Education Ministry mulls holding exams for grades 7-11

AMMAN — Education Minister Mohammad Thneibat on Saturday unveiled plans to hold final exams for grades 7-11.
At a meeting with the ministry’s planning committee, Thneibat explained that the move would put an end to the variations of exam questions and answers in public and private schools and ensure equal opportunities among students.
To this end, the minister formed a committee comprising members from several education departments in public, military and UNRWA schools to study the plan and refer its outcomes to the ministry within a week.
