AMMAN — The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) on Sunday announced that the national insurance claims system (E-CLAIMS) will be implemented as of September 1.
This will apply to hospitals that have successfully completed the necessary system linkage and integration with the platform.
The announcement was made during a meeting that saw the participation of representatives from the Jordan Private Hospitals Association, the Jordan Association for Insurance Companies, private hospitals and insurance business management companies, among others.
It was agreed to grant hospitals that lack electronic systems a grace period until November 1 to integrate their systems with the platform. This measure is designed to ensure maximum protection for policyholders and beneficiaries, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
