Dutch Queen Maxima arrives in Amman

AMMAN — Her Majesty Queen Maxima of The Netherlands arrived in Amman on Sunday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. On a several-day visit to the Kingdom, Queen Maxima will meet with their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania.
Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, Queen Maxima was received by Amman Mayor Yousef Shawarbeh, Dutch Ambassador to Jordan Barbara Joziasse and a number of civil and military officials.
Queen Maxima, in her capacity as the UN secretary general’s special advocate for inclusive finance for development, is visiting Jordan to follow up on projects for a number of organisations concerned with women and Syrian refugees.
