Dughmi stresses ‘deep-rooted’ Jordan-UAE ties

AMMAN — Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi on Sunday stressed the “deep-rooted” relations between Jordan and the UAE. During a meeting in Abu Dhabi with Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council Saqr Ghobash, Dughmi said that Jordan considers UAE’s security as an integral part of the Kingdom’s security, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that Jordan considers the UAE as a model in development, noting that some 350,000 Jordanians work in the Gulf country. Ghobash referred to the “historical, deep-rooted” ties between the countries, praising Jordanians’ contribution to building the UAE.
