Dughmi meets Palestinian National Council Speaker

AMMAN — The Kingdom's efforts, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, to raise the Palestinian cause in regional and international forums have helped the issue regain momentum and contributed to enhancing the identity of the holy city and its Islamic and Christian holy sites, Lower House Speaker Abdulkarim Dughmi said on Tuesday.
During a meeting with Palestinian National Council Speaker Rawhi Fattouh, Dughmi said that His Majesty's recent visit to Ramallah highlights the importance of the Palestinian territories and people and reflects a message that the Palestinian issue will always stay the central cause of the Kingdom, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Talks during the meeting focused on ways to enhance parliamentary efforts in support of Palestine, achieve Palestinian reconciliation and unify Palestinian efforts to serve their cause.
Fattouh praised the visit of King Abdullah and HRH Crown Prince to Ramallah, which further boosted the Palestinian issue’s high value for Jordan.
