Customs department foils drug smuggling attempt

AMMAN — Jordan Customs Department’s (JCD) personnel on Sunday foiled an attempt to smuggle 200,000 Captagon pills hidden in a car on the Desert Highway, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
After stopping the car and searching it, the personnel found six bags hidden inside. They confiscated the pills and referred the suspect, who was driving the car, to the concerned agencies.
