Customs agents seize smuggled items worth JD127,000

AMMAN — The Jordan Customs Department (JCD) said on Tuesday its agents have foiled an attempt to smuggle clothes, 5,000 kilogrammes of cardamom, 3,960 kilos of pistachios and 4,532 kilos of almonds.
JCD personnel seized the items, worth JD127,000.
The fines on these items reached JD71,000, according to JCD.
