‘Current civil ID card to be invalid from June 15’

AMMAN — Interior Minister Ghaleb Zu’bi on Tuesday said that the current civil identification card will become invalid as of June 15, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He said that the smart ID cards will be required for completing transactions, urging citizens to apply for them through the Civil Status and Passports Department branches around the Kingdom.
