Culture Ministry publishes Jordan’s Constitution in Braille

AMMAN — The Ministry of Culture on Thursday published the Jordanian Constitution in Braille, making it available for all institutions concerned with training people with visual impairments.

The initiative came in implementation of the Royal directives to further include people with disabilities, Minister of Culture Haifa Najjar said in a statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

On sharing the Braille version of the Constitution, Najjar said that the ministry will distribute copies of the Braille scripts to all institutions concerned with people with visual impairments to give them an opportunity to read the Constitution so they can better understand their rights.
