AMMAN — Culture Minister Haifa Najjar on Tuesday met with Indonesia’s Ambassador to Jordan Ade Padmo Sarwono to discuss developing cultural relations between the two countries, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Najjar expressed the ministry’s keenness to cooperate and network with Indonesian partners and introduce Indonesian culture and heritage to Jordanians.

The Indonesian ambassador praised the distinguished Jordanian-Indonesian relations, pointing to his country's endeavours to further these ties, expressing appreciation towards the minister’s participation in a workshop to introduce the art of Indonesian Batik, which was organised by the embassy last June.

Sarwono invited the minister to participate in the 3rd World Conference on Creative Economy to be held in Bali, Indonesia, in October.
