Culture minister, Australia ambassador discuss cooperation

AMMAN — Culture Minister Haifa Najjar and Australia’s Ambassador to Jordan Bernard Lynch on Sunday discussed means of enhancing cultural cooperation between the countries.
During a virtual meeting, Najjar expressed keenness on bolstering Jordanian-Australian relations in various fields, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The diplomat invited the minister to visit the Australian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.
Talks also covered the printing of a manuscript to celebrate 100 years of the Jordanian-Australian partnership.
The Australian embassy has submitted the manuscript to the Ministry of Culture to be translated and edited into Arabic, to be launched in a joint ceremony.
