AMMAN — HRH Crown Prince Hussein on Saturday attended a military drill carried out by a joint special operations force, a Royal Court Statement said.

At the beginning of the drill, the Crown Prince, accompanied by acting chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Maj. Gen Saber Mahayrah, was briefed on the maritime anti-terrorism training.

He watched the training, carried out by a special unit from Brigade 71, including raiding a coastal area and destroying a coastal target by helicopters and fast roping, using marine forces and boats.

At the end of the training, the Prince voiced satisfaction with the "advanced level" exhibited by the army units, according to the statement.
