AMMAN — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) on Saturday signed a cooperation agreement with Zain Jordan, with the aim of supporting young people and stimulating their creativity and innovation, through joint cooperation between TechWorks, a CPF initiative, and Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC).

According to the agreement, the two parties aim to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among youth through opportunities provided in the field of digital manufacturing, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

It also stipulated that the two parties implement a targetted field action plan to increase awareness of digital manufacturing, prepare prototypes that include a series of training sessions for Techworks in ZINC branches in the governorates and establish a number of competitions and applied workshops in digital manufacturing.

TechWorks is a CPF initiative, and a centre for local and international innovators to exchange expertise and ideas and access advanced technology in digital manufacturing methods. TechWorks also aims to serve as an incubator for those wishing to develop their ideas into products through which they can register economically feasible patents, according to Petra.
