AMMAN — The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF), in collaboration with the Independent Election Commission (IEC), has concluded a series of introductory sessions on the election and political parties’ laws as part of the Ana Usharek (I Participate) programme.

This programme, implemented by the IEC in cooperation with higher education institutions and the CPF, aims to raise awareness among the youth about the election and political parties’ laws, in a bid to enhance their political participation, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

A total of 617 young men and women participated in the interactive sessions held at the foundation’s offices across the Kingdom.

The sessions covered various topics, including the role of political parties in the future, the role of youth in partisan life, and the 2022 Election Law. They also reviewed the conditions for running for elections and the stages of the electoral process, where organisers conducted interactive sessions to simulate the entire election process.

The I Participate programme, part of the IEC initiatives held in collaboration with the CPF aims to develop leadership skills among young people and enhance their participation in political and partisan activities.
