AMMAN — The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on Saturday affirmed its full commitment to Defence Order No.35, which restricts all employees, including administrators and faculty members in public and private universities and colleges, to receive two doses of the Coronavirus vaccine as a condition for entering the university campus as of January 1, 2022.
According to the ministry, faculty members, administrators and students will not be allowed to enter the university campus unless they have received two doses of the coronavirus vaccine. The defence order excludes people who did not receive two doses of the vaccine for medical reasons by an authorisation from the Minister of Health. Unvaccinated individuals must show a negative PCR test, valid for 72 hours, upon entry to any university or college, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
