AMMAN — The Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) has decided to suspend work on construction projects during Eid Al Fitr, which is expected to begin on Tuesday or Wednesday, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported Saturday.
GAM asked contractors to commit to the decision, adding that they will be held accountable otherwise. The decision aims to allow the public to enjoy the holiday without noise pollution.
