Constitutional Court president meets with Yemeni supreme court chief justice

AMMAN — Constitutional Court President Taher Hikmat on Wednesday received Chief of the Yemeni Supreme Court Hmoud Hattar and an accompanying delegation and exchanged views on the work of the constitutional court in both countries.
Hikmat briefed Hattar on the Kingdom’s Constitutional Court, in terms of its establishment, jurisdiction and mechanism of appointing its members, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. As for prospects of mutual cooperation, he voiced the Constitutional Court’s readiness to provide relevant support to the Yemeni side through the exchange of expertise and advice on constitutional work.
