Conference to discuss challenges to broadcasting in region

AMMAN — A conference titled “Radio and Television Broadcasting: Policies, Transformations, Challenges” opens in Amman on Tuesday.
The two-day conference is organised by the Jordan Media Institute (JMI) in cooperation with the Norwegian Institute of Journalism in order to discuss issues and challenges facing broadcasting in Jordan and the region.
Experts, academics, and journalists from Jordan, Arab and foreign countries are taking part in the conference, according to JMI Dean Basim Tweissi.
