Concert to mark World Day of Cultural Diversity

AMMAN — The UNESCO Amman Office, in partnership with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organisation, the National Music Conservatory, and JOrchestra will host a traditional music evening titled “The Rhythm of Jordan, Tradition And Modernity” at the Odeon in downtown Amman on Thursday at 7pm, a TAG-Org statement said.
The event will mark World Day of Cultural Diversity and the launch of #Unite4Heritage, a campaign to create a positive narrative around the importance of cultural heritage in Jordan, Arab countries and beyond, the statement said.
Tickets, available on karasi.com, will be sold at JD5, with the proceeds going to cultural heritage education programmes.
