AMMAN — The Amman Chamber of Commerce said on Saturday that its board of directors decided to donate JD100,000 to the fund for the families of fallen army and security personnel.
A statement from the chamber quoted its president, Issa Murad, as saying that the donation came as part of the chamber’s endeavours to enhance social responsibility among the private sector in the capital.
The board called on the service and commerce sectors in Amman to contribute to the fund as it supports families that lost members who served their country and sacrificed for its people and security.
