AMMAN — Temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to drop significantly, bringing cold weather and possible heavy rainfall and thunderstorms around the Kingdom, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
The JMD also predicted a chance of intermittent rainfall on Thursday, with the weather remaining cold.
The JMD warned of slippery roads in areas expecting rainfall and low visibility in Badia areas due to winds raising dust.
Temperatures in Amman on Wednesday will see a high of 12ºC during the day and a low of 6ºC at night, while on Thursday temperatures are expected to range between 13 C and 4ºC.
In Aqaba, temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to reach a high of 20ºC during the day and a low of 12ºC at night, while on Thursday temperatures are expected to range between 21ºC and 10ºC, according to the JMD.
