Civilian members of Military Credit Fund board appointed

AMMAN — The King’s Military Adviser and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Gen. Mashal Al Zaben has appointed the civilian members of the Military Credit Fund’s administrative board. The decision is effective as of June 10.

The members are Muhannad Khalil as vice chairman, Jamal Fariz, Laith Kurdi and Bahaa Armouti. In addition to the civilian members, the board, chaired by Zaben, also includes the head of the finance department at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and a representative of a security apparatus.

The fund, established by Royal directives to provide credit and financial services to army and security services personnel in accordance with Sharia (Islamic law), began operating on June 9.
