Circassian Charity Association, National Charter Party hold meeting

AMMAN — The Circassian Charity Association on Thursday welcomed members of Al Mithaq Al Watani (National Charter) Party for a dialogue session at its headquarters in Amman. Muhammad Momani, secretary-general of the party, said that the purpose of the meeting was to extend an invitation to Circassian figures to join the party and encourage other Circassian members to do the same, according to a party statement to The Jordan Times. Momani highlighted the importance of joining efforts in addressing various challenges, particularly at the economic level. He said that the political party represents all segments of Jordanian society, “a key characteristic of the party along with the highest levels of transparency.”  President of the Circassian Tribal Council of Jordan Senator Kheiriddin Hakouz headed the meeting attended by several Circassian figures who commended the party’s role and expressed interest to join parties and increase Circassian participation in elections.
