Ceremony marks 65 years of Indo-Jordanian cooperation

AMMAN — Their Royal Highnesses Prince Hassan and Princess Sarvath on Tuesday attended a ceremony marking the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Jordan and India, according to a statement released by the Indian embassy in Amman.
Prince Hassan inaugurated a photography exhibition on bilateral ties and Islamic monuments of India, held at the Royal Cultural Centre.
India’s Ambassador to Jordan Anil Trigunayat highlighted key aspects of relations between New Delhi and Amman as well as the various cultural activities the embassy has planned to mark the occasion.
The ceremony, organised by the embassy in cooperation with the Culture Ministry, included a performance of Bharatanatyam and the screening of a Bollywood movie titled “Black”.
