AMMAN — The King Abdullah II Center for Excellence (KACE) has begun the assessment process for the third cycle of the Excellence in Public Service Award, with the participation of 14 institutions, and 46 branches, the centre said in a statement released Wednesday.
The award includes ministries and government institutions that deal directly with service recipients in all their participating branches, and it aims at “building, supporting, and disseminating the culture of excellence in public service”.
It is also based on specific criteria, including the service provided, communication with service recipients, and the final results of the service. Throughout the award cycle, the participating institutions are regularly subject to unannounced field visits and customer satisfaction surveys, KACE said in the statement.
