CDD launches mobile app to boost communication with citizens

AMMAN — The Civil Defence Department (CDD) on Monday launched its first Android Smartphone application, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The department Director Maj. Gen. Mustafa Bazaiah stressed that this step reflects the CDD’s continuous efforts in keeping up with the latest technological advances to provide aid and support to all segments of the society.
The application “fosters communication with citizens and keeps them updated with the latest news, articles, and activities related to the CDD’s mission, which seeks to protect human lives and property against various risks”, Bazaiah added.
