CDD honours young men for ‘heroic efforts’ during floods

AMMAN — The Civil Defence Department (CDD) on Sunday honoured Rakan Dawaimeh and Ahmad Nobani for their “heroic” efforts in rescuing a family whose members were trapped in their apartment during the floods in Amman last Thursday. CDD Director Lt. Gen. Talal Kofahi thanked the two young men for their efforts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
