CDD deals with 583 incidents in 48 hours

AMMAN — The Civil Defence Department said it dealt with 583 incidents in the field of firefighting and rescue on Thursday and Friday, which caused 145 injuries.
CDD cadres also handled 976 medical cases. Major incidents included a collision between a bus and a vehicle on Thursday that resulted in eight injuries, and a three-vehicle collision that caused five injuries.
On Friday seven were injured in a road accident in Irbid, while five were injured in a collision in Amman, according to the CDD.
