AMMAN – The Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation (JHCO), in cooperation with the Syrian Refugee Affairs Directorate, has completed the first phase of delivering a number of caravans (prefabricated houses) for a number of Syrian families at the Zaatari camp in Mafraq governorate.

JHCO said in a press statement, carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, on Wednesday that 110 caravans, donated by Helping Hand for Relief and Development and handed over to the Syrian Refugee Affairs Directorate in Zaatari Camp, would be distributed to the Syrian refugees in order to help them cope with the risks of this year’s winter.

JHCO pointed out that the first phase had been implemented in two batches during the past two weeks, and the next phases will be completed as needed and in coordination with the directorate and organisations concerned with the needs and affairs of refugees.
