Amman — Under the framework of the EU-funded and UNESCO Amman Office-implemented “Support to Media in Jordan” project, the media cooperation agency from the French government on Sunday began an “extensive” training programme for mid-career journalists in Jordan, according to a statement from the organisers.
The training programme is being held at the SAE Institute and will also take place in Irbid and Aqaba in March. Over 100 journalists will be trained on data journalism, cross media information, collection and verification of information, cyber security and protection, the statement said.
