Cabinet urges ministries to prepare for e-services launch

AMMAN — The Council of Ministers on Saturday called on relevant ministries and public institutions to start preparing e-services stations as of July 1, before they start offering 10 online-only services as of January 1, 2018.
The 10 services that will only be available online are land blueprints, land registration, certificate of no criminal record, renewing work licences, paying traffic fines, buildings and lands’ taxes and renewing car licences (for vehicles exempted of technical check-up).
Other services include subscribing to the Social Security Corporation (SSC), paying optional SSC subscriptions and paying SSC company subscriptions.
