Cabinet increases Gulf grant allocation for hospitals

AMMAN — The Council of Ministers on Wednesday approved increasing the allocated grant for establishing and furbishing new public hospitals.
The hospitals will be financed through the Saudi contribution to the Gulf Cooperation Council grant, and the Cabinet called for addressing the Saudi Development Fund to raise the grant by $25 million.
The decision is aimed at securing enough funds to continue equipping the Jerash, Ajloun and Mafraq military hospitals.
