Cabinet approves National Population Strategy 2021-2030

AMMAN — The Cabinet on Sunday approved the National Population Strategy 2021-2030.
Outlined by the Higher Population Council (HPC) in cooperation with ministries, public and semi-governmental institutions, civil society organisations and the private sector, the strategy's priorities focus on four pillars related to health and reproductive health, economic and social aspects, women and youth, as well as migration, refugee and crises.
The Council of Ministers also approved the recommendations of the Settlement and Reconciliation Committee to settle the tax status of 1,058 taxpayers owing financial obligations in accordance with the provisions of the Income Tax Law and the General Sales Tax Law, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
