Cabinet approves Jordanian-Eyptian tourism programme

AMMAN — The cabinet has approved the 2022-2024 Jordanian-Egyptian executive programme for tourism cooperation that was signed between the countries' ministries of tourism and antiquities in Cairo.
Published in the Official Gazette on Thursday, the executive programme, a re-operationalisation of the Jordanian-Egyptian 1989 tourism cooperation agreement, consists of five categories: Tourism promotion and marketing, tourism training, sustainable tourism, tourism-related legislations and regulations, and the formation of a follow-up committee to set a timetable to implement the programme.
