AMMAN — Border Guards on Thursday night killed two people trying to infiltrate the Kingdom from a neighbouring country, an army official said. Border Guards applied the rules of engagement and after killing the suspected infiltrators, army personnel searched the area and found 71,000 illegal pills and 354 sheets of hashish, according to an army official, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

Also on Thursday, Border Guards arrested two people trying to infiltrate the Kingdom and sent them to the concerned authorities. On Saturday, the troops foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics from Jordan into a neighbouring country.
