HRH Crown Prince Hussein poses for a group photo with the national basketball team members during their final practice on Tuesday preceding their departure to take part in the World Cup finals in China, where Jordan will be the only participating Arab country from Asia.
The Crown Prince’s surprise visit came to boost the team’s morale and was in line with his continuous support for the sports sector and the youth, a Royal Court statement said.
Jordan’s national basketball team is ranked 32nd worldwide and first among Arab countries, according to the statement
