Azaizeh, UK ambassador talk ties

AMMAN — Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Wajih Azaizeh on Tuesday met with UK Ambassador Bridget Brind and stressed the “solid” relations between Jordan and the UK. 

Azaizeh referred to the “profound” cooperation between the two countries in many fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported. 

He said that His Majesty King Abdullah had reiterated that political modernisation aims to broaden public participation in policy and decision-making through political parties. 

Brind stressed her country’s pride in the “high-level” cooperation between the two kingdoms, praising Jordan’s recent efforts in political, economic and administrative modernisation.
