Azaizeh meets camp representatives

AMMAN — Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Wajih Azaizeh on Saturday met the heads and members of the service improvement committees of the camps, along with several representatives from the local community.
The meeting, which took place at the Service Improvement Committee Hall in Al Hussein Camp in Amman, focused on the political modernisation track, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
During the session, moderated by the head of the Al Hussein Camp Improvement Committee, Fathi Ghayadah, and attended by the Director General of the Palestinian Affairs Department Rafiq Kherfan, the participants engaged in a discussion on strengthening citizenship values among all segments of society.
They emphasised the importance of involving citizens in the decision-making process, and drew attention to the importance of ongoing communication between camp residents and official institutions to encourage further contributions to society.
Understanding the role of political parties in identifying the challenges faced by citizens and developing practical solutions were also emphasised, as they are the foundation of the democratic process.
