Awqaf minister meets Palestine counterpart in Mecca

AMMAN — Awqaf Minister Mohammad Khalaileh on Monday met his Palestinian counterpart Hatem Bakri. During a visit to the Palestinian Hajj mission in Mecca, Khalaileh highlighted the "deep-rooted" Jordanian-Palestinian relations, expressing the Jordanian mission's readiness to support Palestinian pilgrims.
Hajj is the greater Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca. Welcoming Khalaileh and his accompanying delegation, Bakri voiced appreciation of the Kngdom's efforts in support of the Palestinians, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
