Authorities raise taxi tariff, set JD1 minimum fare per trip

AMMAN — The Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) on Monday decided to increase yellow taxi’s start normal tariff to 350 fils and set the minimum fare per trip at JD1, LTRC spokesperson Ablah Washah said.
Washah noted that the commission contacted the Jordan Standards and Metrology Organisation to start adjusting the metres in the accredited official workshops, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
