Army signs deals to guard Potash company facilities

AMMAN — The Arab Potash Company (APC) on Tuesday signed an agreement with the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) to secure vital facilities of the company, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The agreement was signed by Southern Military Zone Commander Brig. Gen. Adnan Majali, on behalf of the JAF, and APC Board Chairman Jamal Sarayrah.
The deal reflects the JAF’s commitment to safeguarding the national economic assets and facilities and its “contribution to the advancement of national development”, Petra said.
The signing ceremony was attended by members of the APC’s board of directors and senior officers from the Southern Military Region.
