Army chief, Saudi ambassador talk ties, military cooperation

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti on Wednesday met Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Nayef Bin Bandar Al Sudairy.
Talks, during the meeting held at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army General Command, went over coordination and cooperation in a number of issues of common interest for the two countries’ armies.
The Saudi envoy lauded the “historic and deep” Jordanian-Saudi ties, highlighting keenness to advance mutual ties in all fields, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
