Army chief opens office for military veterans

AMMAN — Upon Royal directives from His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Freihat on Wednesday opened an office for military veterans at JAF’s headquarters, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
Brig. Gen. Abdullah Al Hasanat, director of personnel affairs, said the office was set up to facilitate and follow up on applications and transactions for retired servicemen.
