Army chief offers condolences to family of fallen Air Force pilot

AMMAN — Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Maj. Gen. Yousef Huneiti, accompanied by security agency directors and high-ranking officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army, on Wednesday offered condolences for fallen Pilot Maj. Ali Harasis. The pilot lost his life when his helicopter crashed during a training flight in the Baqaa region. Huneiti expressed condolences to the family of Harasis who bravely joined those who sacrificed their lives in defence of the nation, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The army chief also visited First Lieutenant Pilot Abdullah Al Qassas, who is currently receiving treatment at Al Hussein Medical City. Huneiti checked on Qassas health and ensured that he receives the necessary medical care, wishing him a swift and full recovery.
