AMMAN — Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League Hossam Zaki on Tuesday reiterated the resolute stance of Jordan and Egypt in opposing any plans to forcibly displace Palestinians from Gaza.
In a press statement, Zaki emphasised the unified position of the Arab world in rejecting such displacement, calling for full Arab cooperation to resist these efforts.
Zaki also addressed proposals for Gaza’s reconstruction, stressing the importance of utilising Palestinian labour and ensuring the Palestinian Authority oversees these efforts, the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
He also stressed that Gaza's future must remain in Palestinian hands, emphasising that any solution must preserve its identity and sovereignty.
