Aqaba welcomed more than 50,000 visitors during Eid Al Adha — ASEZA

AMMAN — During the Eid Al Adha holiday Aqaba welcomed more than 50,000 visitors, Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Sharhabeel Madi said on Saturday.
Vaccination rates among tourist workers in Aqaba totalled about 84 per cent, the highest rate in the Kingdom, Madi said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra. The official also commended the visitors’ commitment to preventive measures, notably showing their vaccination certificates or undergoing PCR tests before entering the port city.
