App enables public to anonymously report suspicious behaviour

AMMAN — The Preventive Security Department has launched the “Jordan Knights” app, which enables the public to communicate with the department, send their notes, observations, videos and pictures, and report any suspicious behaviour, a department statement said Sunday.

Any information sent through the app will be dealt with confidentially and immediately, the statement said, adding that the sender will not face any legal repercussions whether the information is correct or not since it is the preventive security department’s job to check the information’s credibility.

The department thanked several citizens for reporting suspected drug dealers, who were arrested with support from the Anti-Narcotics Department.
