AND agents detain four; seize drugs, weapons in badia raids

AMMAN — Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) personnel on Wednesday raided three locations in Central Badia, according to the media centre at the Public Security Department.

In the raids, AND agents made several arrests and seized drugs and weapons.

The team raided a house and arrested a man in possession of two kilogrammes of hashish and synthetic cannabis, and seized a stolen car at the same location.

In another house raid, agents detained a suspected drug dealer and seized the narcotics found in his possession.

In the third raid, AND personnel arrested two suspects and seized 30 kilogrammes of synthetic cannabis, 10 boxes of drugs, three automatic weapons, two pistols, a pump-action rifle and ammunition.
